On the Ground


Aviation Campus Hallmark Campus

Hallmark College of Aeronautics is located parallel to Runway 3 at the southeast corner of the San Antonio International Airport and occupies over 60,000 sq. ft. of classroom and hangar space.  Education facilities include laboratories, aircraft hangars, academic classrooms, computer lab, and a library.  Administrative facilities include offices and work areas utilized for direct student administrative support activities.

Hallmark College of Aeronautics is a FAA (FAR Part 147) certified Aviation Maintenance Technician School.  There are aircraft ramp spaces available for aircraft parking and operation, including a Boeing 727 used exclusively for training purposes.  The airport runways are immediately accessible by interconnecting taxiways.

The Aircraft Structural Repair Lab contains workstations for operation training in repair and/or fabrication of sheet metal and composite projects.

The Turbine Engine Lab contains turbine engines for disassembly, overhaul, and dimensioning with portable operational turbine engines for run-up.

The Reciprocating Engine Lab is equipped with engine test cells, which are available for engine repair, test, and operational training. 

Technology Campus

Hallmark College of Technology is a 40,000 sq. ft. two-story facility with student and faculty parking available on the immediate campus grounds. The school is handicapped accessible. Educational facilities include modern laboratories, academic classrooms and a library.  Administrative facilities include offices and work areas utilized for direct student administrative support.

Training equipment is located in each laboratory of the Computer Networking Systems, Electronics Engineering, Medical Assistant, and Business Office Administration programs. Students enrolled will have individualized access to computers that are equipped with high-speed Internet access.

The computer networking systems labs contain current industry hardware and software with training on servers, desktops, routers, switches, to include network configuration and topologies.

The electronics laboratories contain a wide variety of electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, frequency counters and microcomputers.

Business computer labs include hardware and software typically found in today’s business environments, such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentations, and accounting software.

The medical clinic mock-up contains administrative and clinical classrooms with laboratory equipment and supplies including EKG machines, equipment that is commonly used in medical offices for blood and fluid analysis, and patient assessment. 

Library

The library at both campuses houses several thousand volumes of historical, fictional, biographical, technical, and reference works for student use in research and career development.  In addition, the library includes multiple computer workstations making Internet and online database research available to all students.
